**Question 42** of The Never-Ending Book asks in Question 12's chalkboard format, "How many times has algebra been mentioned?" with answer options "1", "2", "3" and "more than it should".

Algebra certainly hasn't been mentioned too much, but it turns out to have been mentioned *four* times:

- One of the loading screen hints says ALGEBRA.
- Question 38, where one of the answer options is "algebra".
- Question 39 (what happens when you fail algebra?)
- Question 41 - the "algebra" pun.

Since none of the answer options say 4 then, none of them are correct? Where are you going to find a four to answer the question? In the question number 42, of course! If you move your mouse around you'll notice that it's clickable. So click it to proceed.
